No complaints on the condition of the book at all. But the story was god awful. I just expected so much more from this author after reading her Kiesha'ra series of which it ruins the ending from said series. Super disappointed. Enjoyed some points, loved the cougars, but not worth the read imo sorry Atwater-Rhodes :(

One of my favorite authors. Was not able to put the book down until it ended. Can't wait for more from Amelia Atwater-Rhodes!!!
I love all of Amelia Atwater-Rhodes' books, and she just continues to write more enchanting and wonderful series. All her books tie together in a magical world that leaves the reader craving more. This book brought the serpiente into the fold more thoroughly and gave much greater insight into the people of the Shantel.
I feel like she could have delivered deeper into magic but the book was still good. I don't think I would like it as much without already being so fully invested into this world. Honestly not her best work.
